About Lorraine Weygman

Over the last 20 plus years, Lorraine Weygman has been delivering common sense training and team building in the corporate environment. Lorraine decided to start Weygman Consulting so she could focus on delivering custom solutions to corporate businesses.

True customization was something she saw lacking in the solutions offered by most of the larger training and human development firms. Lorraine knew that as an independent business, she could deliver truly customized solutions to her clients. Lorraine was determined that there would be no cookie-cutter solutions available at Weygman.

International problem solving

Her expertise includes problem solving, creating and living with change, teambuilding, leadership, workplace culture, communication skills, understanding difficult people, creative time management and stress management. She has also worked in Latin America where she learned how to work successfully with business leaders of major international corporations from a wide variety of cultures.

Widely featured in the media

Lorraine has been featured on radio and television, and in numerous magazines and newspapers in North and South America, Britain and Russia. She has been a facilitator, consultant, public speaker, writer and radio host.

Lorraine has published over 100 articles in Health Care, Banking, Pharmacy, Condominium, Financial, Associations, Human Resources, Business, Women's and Government publications.

Academic depth

Prior to her business career, Lorraine spent over 25 years in academia, consulting on three continents. She has designed courses, taught and guest lectured for the Ontario Ministry of Education, York University, University of Toronto, Humber College, the Ontario Teachers' Federation and numerous others.

Lorraine has an M. Ed. in Adult Education, majoring in Developing Human Resources, Organizational Development and Administration, a B.A. in Psychology, a B.F.A. Honours, in Visual Arts and Film and is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP). Since 1987, she has been listed in the Who's Who of American Women.
